Territory Operations Manager
Baltimore, MD

Based out of Tennessee, we are a specialized courier service structured specifically for the laboratory industry.  Our job is to efficiently transport specimens from client sites to lab sites effectively in order for our clients to compete in today market.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual based out of Baltimore to manage the operations of various existing and future markets of ours in the immediate and surrounding region. 

As a Territory Manager, you will essentially be responsible for coordinating all efforts of properly managing contracted drivers to ensure that routes are handled timely, thoroughly, and accurately to specification.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Contract, train, and manage area drivers for specific routes as needed 
  • Provide support and backup availability for drivers as needed to ensure adequate coverage of all services
  • Maintain accurate schedules and ensure proper data capture by drivers
  • Monitor and track specific data and ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and timely
  • Effectively problem solve operational issues on a regional level
  • Communicate and report to management as needed 
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of routes and continuously strive for efficiencies
  • Make operational adjustments as necessary to ensure excellent service 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in transportation logistics management or operations management
  • Contracted driver services management experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and ability with MS Office software (emphasis in Excel and Word)
  • Working knowledge of TSA rules and regulations
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and skills
  • High degree of reliability and responsibility
  • Strong ability to effectively self-manage as well as manage others
  • Meticulous attention to detail and desire to provide and maintain excellent service
Additional Information:
  • Normal schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, however this is a management position that could require night and weekend availability, possible holidays 
  • Full employer paid health and dental insurance offered 
  • Some regional travel required (1-2x per month, expenses paid)
  • Paid vacation after 1 yr
