Transportation Dispatch/Customer Service - Lab Express, Inc.

We are a specialized courier service structured specifically for the laboratory industry.  Our job is to efficiently transport specimens from client sites to lab sites effectively in order for our clients to compete in today market.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our operations team! As a Customer Service Rep, you will be responsible for receiving job orders from customers via email/phone and ensuring that the order is handled quickly and accurately to customer specifications.  You will also handle front line communications with our team of couriers, to support accurate and timely driver performances per customer specifications.

This a 1st shift (days) position for full-time weekday & some weekend availability.   Approx 40 hours weekly and days TBD, but will generally be 1st shift, approximately 8:30-5:00. Some flexibility in scheduling will be required. 

Responsibilities:

• Receive and execute customer orders
• Dispatch orders properly to company drivers based on market area
• Properly track drivers and report route activity as needed via website
• Follow up with all drivers as needed to accurately and timely complete routes
• Report any issues or incidents to proper team members, supervisors, and customers
• Complete recurring reporting as necessary per customer specifications

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience/working background in dispatch or transportation/logistics preferred
• Fluent computer skills and ability to work proficiently with MS Office software (Excel, Word)
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Great degree of reliability and responsibility
• Meticulous attention to detail and desire to complete tasks correctly and with accuracy

Additional Information:
Schedule at this time is TBD, but this will primarily be a 1st shift position with possible hours overlapping into 2nd or 3rd shift . Some overtime and holidays may be required.
