We are a specialized transportation logistics service structured specifically for the laboratory industry.  Our job is to efficiently transport specimens from client sites to lab sites effectively in order for our clients to compete in today's market.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team!

As a Billing Clerk, you will work closely with the Billing Dept Manager and Accounting Manager to complete all tasks and procedures required to accurately and timely process our vendor's payments on a bi-weekly basis.  You will also handle other associated clerical and reporting functions required within the departments.  Our business relies heavily on information technology and modern telecommunications.  A qualified candidate will possess a skill set and experience that contributes to the improvement of IT processes within the department.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary
  • Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Examine, evaluate, process, and audit invoices or bills for services rendered
  • Institute financial procedures and controls
  • Enter and transfer data within various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
  • Involvement with implementation of software automation processes and help facilitate department process improvements
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Degree in associated field or 2+ years of experience in a related role
  • Excellent general computer skills 
  • Advanced proficiency specifically in Microsoft Excel and basic proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs (prerequisite testing required)
  • Strong understanding of current general IT processes and ability to troubleshoot and/or report issues effectively
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Great degree of reliability and responsibility
  • Meticulous attention to detail and desire to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Additional Information:

Normal schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.  Some overtime may be required, but not typical.  Health Insurance benefits available to include medical, dental, vision, etc.
